The T.C.M.A Board of Directors


Irwin "Sonny" Sonsky, President

Prior to moving to Township, Sonny was employed by a major airline for 36 years. In 1996 he was honored as Township Person of the Year for his service to the Township. In 1998, he was elected to the TCMA Board of Directors and was liaison to the maintenance committee for three years. Afterwards he became Vice President and was the liaison to the architectural review committee. In 2004 and again in 2010, Sonny was honored for his service to the Township Men's Club where he is still a member.


Ed Trees, Vice President

Ed has been a Township resident for 17 years. He is currently serving as a Director on the TCMA Board of Directors and Board Liaison to the Architectural Review Committee. He is also on the Committee for the Couples Club. Before moving to Florida, Ed's experience was gained while working for the New York City Transit Authority (retired) and from running his own home improvement business that has served him well in many ways, as well as assisting others. He hopes to use his knowledge and experience to help the TCMA Board of Directors keep our Township Community running smoothly.


Marty Pines, Vice President

Marty has been a resident for 13 years, and he has served as Secretary of the Karanda IV board. Marty joined the Township Men's Club and has served on it's Board as Secretary, Vice President, and President for two years in each position. He now serves the Men's Club Board in an entertainment director capacity. Marty has also been a member of the Township's Recreation Committee for the past five years. He also is Vice President of the Couples Club.


Helen Bund, Vice President / Secretary

For twenty-six years, Helen, was an administrative secretary and certified by the state to teach adult education for the Commack Schools in New York. She was a negotiator and workshop leader as well as holding office in County, State and National Professional Organizations. She has been a TCMA Board member from 1990 - 1998 and from 2000 to the present. She was TCMA Person of the Year in 1990. She has served on the Recreation Committee, Gingertree Board of Directors, Coconut Creek Planning and Zoning Board, TCMA liason to the Broward Coalition as well as the Coconut Creek SALT Committee benefiting seniors.


Carroll H. Baum, Treasurer

Carroll attended Bentley College and Graduate School. He earned a BS degree in Accounting as well as a Master of Science in Finance & Taxation. He is an Entrepreneurial Chief Financial Officer with flawless ethics and integrity, skilled in relationship management, crisis management and comprehensive negotiations. Experienced in providing dependable strategic financial mergers & acquisitions, operation analysis, gift estate and taxes, budgets, internal audits, embezzlement, fraud, treasury insurance accounting and litigation consulting engagements. Carroll holds certification as a CPA in Massachusetts as well as Florida.
